Do I need insurance to use your services?

We accept many insurance plans and also offer affordable self-pay options. Please contact us to verify your coverage or discuss payment options that work for you.

Are your services available outside of Texas?

Currently, The Recovery Plug serves individuals throughout the state of Texas via virtual sessions. We hope to expand to additional states in the future.

How do virtual sessions work?

All sessions are conducted via secure, HIPAA-compliant video platforms. After booking, you’ll receive a link to join your session from any device with internet access — no downloads required.

Is The Recovery Plug LGBTQIA+-affirming?

Absolutely. We are Texas’s first LGBTQIA+-focused virtual recovery and mental health services provider. Every member of our team is trained in culturally competent, affirming care for all identities.

What is a Peer Support Specialist?

A Peer Support Specialist is someone with lived experience in recovery or mental health challenges who is certified to support others on their journey. They offer empathy, understanding, and practical guidance.

Are support groups confidential?

Yes. All support groups follow strict confidentiality guidelines. What is shared in group stays in group. We create a safe, judgment-free space for everyone.
