About The Recovery Plug
Connecting the LGBTQIA+ community and beyond to affirming, virtual recovery and mental health services across rural Texas.
Our Mission
The Recovery Plug, LLC was founded to address a critical gap in Texas’s recovery and mental health landscape. As the state’s first LGBTQIA+–focused virtual recovery and mental health service provider, we believe our community deserves care that sees them, affirms them, and meets them where they are.
Many LGBTQIA+ individuals, especially those living in rural areas, face barriers to culturally competent and affirming care. Whether someone is seeking support for substance use recovery, mental health peer support, or simply a safe space to be heard, The Recovery Plug works to bridge that gap through fully virtual services.
Our team includes LGBTQIA+ professionals with lived experience, bringing connection, compassion, and authenticity to every session. We believe recovery is possible for everyone, and that each person’s path is unique.
The Recovery Plug is more than a service provider. We are building a hub for connection, resources, and hope.
