The Recovery Plug

The Recovery Plug offers virtual support services led by certified Recovery Support Peer Specialists (RSPS) and Mental Health Peer Specialists (MHPS). Our services are designed to meet people where they are, providing connection, guidance, and recovery-focused support through a secure virtual space.

How We Can Support

We offer culturally affirming, trauma-informed virtual services designed with the LGBTQIA+ community at the center. Our goal is to create a supportive space where individuals feel respected, understood, and empowered in their recovery and mental health journey.

RSPS Coaching

One-on-one virtual coaching with a certified Recovery Support Peer Specialist who brings lived experience in recovery. Sessions focus on encouragement, goal setting, coping skills, and staying connected to your recovery journey. Accessible across Texas and beyond.

MHPS Individual Sessions

One-on-one virtual support with a certified Mental Health Peer Specialist who has lived experience in mental health recovery. Sessions focus on connection, coping skills, wellness planning, and building tools to support your mental health journey. Accessible across Texas and beyond.

Substance Use Individual 1:1 Counseling

Private, one-on-one virtual counseling focused on substance use, recovery, and overall wellbeing. Sessions are trauma-informed, person-centered, and designed to help you understand patterns, build coping skills, and create a recovery plan that works for you. Accessible support for individuals across Texas, including rural communities, and beyond.

Substance Use Biopsychosocial Assessments

Comprehensive virtual assessments that explore substance use history, mental health, physical health, and social factors. These assessments help identify individual needs and guide personalized recovery and treatment recommendations.
